It incorporates ball bearings for the arm shaft and hook shaft, a drive belt and a plunger oil pump mechanism for automatic lubrication ensuring a smooth and quiet operating environment. The compound feed and split needle bar makes this machine a good choice in the sewing of multi-layer heavy weight material where corner stitching may or may not be necessary such as leather, foam plastic, and synthetic fabrics. GC20638-25 AND GC20638-25-D

This 25″ arm double needle compound feed split needle bar lockstitch machine is an industry first! Two large vertical axis hooks are used to ensure uniform stitch quality with smooth operation, low noise levels and a long service life. A longer version of model GC20638 it offers many of the same features in a longer machine with increased working space. It is used to sew tents, parachutes, awnings, car and truck covers, hot air balloons, and other large articles where two simultaneous rows of lock stitches are required in addition to having the capability to turn corners without cross over. It has a working space of 25" x 4"
